Platform Competition in Telecommunications

Church, Jeffrey and Gandal, Neil, "Platform Competition in Telecommunications" (October 2004). CEPR Discussion Paper No. 4659.

Abstract:

In this Paper, we consider the economics of platform competition in telecommunications. Platform competition occurs when different, sometimes incompatible, technologies compete to provide telecommunications services to end-users. Battles between competing technologies have been an important feature of telecommunications in the last twenty or so years. Examples of platform competition in telecommunications include wireless vs. wireline networks, competing wireless options, such as satellite vs. cellular, and, within cellular, different digital standards.

Here are some quotes from our visitors about loving god:

... because he has given him a good harvest, or filled his cup with wine. this is rather to love god's blessing than to love god.

... because i still think it is the right thing to tell people, but at the same time as you prove it is not the most important part of the message.

... because he first loved us. Stand firm and see the deliverance the lord will give you, o lord my god, i called to you for help and you healed me.
